Pathways to permanent status
The IND grants a permanent regular residence permit when you meet the general requirements, complete five consecutive years with a valid Dutch residence permit (only years from age 8 count toward that period), maintain your main residence in the Netherlands, extend permits on time, hold a non-temporary residence purpose, satisfy income rules, are registered in the BRP, pass civic integration at least at A2 (or hold an exemption), and did not provide false information in prior applications.
